I like the toning, but yes--visibility of LIBERTY is critical here.
However, I think the rim damage pretty much restricts this one to a G4. It could be VG8+ w/o that damage.
It might be different if this coin were from the 70's, but this is a common date.

I also say G-4, the rim damage hurts it from going any higher.

I don't see any LIBERTY, but the denticles are relatively strong.

G-6 details, with rim damage.

(If any 3 letters of LIBERTY are visible in hand, then VG-8 details.)

hehe...it is a dark coin.

For each coin, I've been taking pictures at several consecutive shutter speeds, then picking the best ones on the computer screen. I didn't get enough exposure on this one, and was too tired to take more pics of it. You should see the other pics of this coin. These are the brightest. :)
