I finally got a better Korean 1 fun coin which was struck for only 4 years: 1892,3, 1895, 6. While there are plenty of 5 fun of its type, 1 fun coins are just absurdly scarce, even more rare in UNC condition.

1 fun:

And it's 5 fun counterpart
A-Tough-Nut-To-Obtain---Korea-1892-1-Fun

Note there is some alloy differences, the 5 fun coin is made of almost pure copper, 98% copper, 1& tin, 1% tin whereas the 1 fun coin's composition is 95% copper, 5% aluminum. Anyone else has a nice example of a 1 fun type out there?

Interesting how a slight difference in the alloy changes the appearance so much.
