hi and I would appreciate your thoughts, grade and variety of this pretty rough 1798 penny. ( I think a 1798) I know that year has a number of varieties and I want to correctly label this. thanks

Can't help with the variety, but I'll say AG details (scratches).

A straight graded PO-1 would have been great on this coin but there's to much meat, plus it's probably detailed.
