Spence Moderator United States 34428 Posts	Posted 01/02/2021 10:58 am @69rick, as you may know, there are several die cracks which start in the region of the horse's mouth that are loosely called "spitting horse"; however, yours looks more like a scratch on the coin itself rather than a mint error.
