Hey all! I got this quarte that looks to be Collar Clash, and off center strike. I dont think broad struck because I do not see letters or anything missing or faded, but one side of the coin is flat like from a broad strike. One side is thick and the other thin. The collar clash looks fabulous, but I have am not getting why the reverse clad is wide and sticks out and the obverse is looks thin and does not extend to the edge of the coin. The coin is also very thin and a weighs 5.7 considering it dont look like it should. Thanks for your time as always

5.7 is normal, I just clicked on Coin Facts on the left side of page.
Not a collar clash, not a broad strike, not off center strike. It looks like maybe a very minor MAD to me.

The images are throwing me off and some of the reflective surfaces look odd, but this may be a partial collar strike. Anyone else think so?

Sorry if pictures are not that clear. They look great on my phone. Both sides of the rim is rounded like in the picture and the coin is a hair smaller then the rest. It is even all the way around unlike broad strike or off center. If the rim is rounded off like that, would that be a tilted collar strike? It looks really neat like that. Well I think.

Possibly either a straight collar error or as you said partial collar. Need to see pics of all the edge (round the whole coin) to see if it's tilted or not.

Crud where did I put the coin. As soon as I find where I placed it I will turn the lights, and take pics all the way around the rim and post.

Ok found where I put it. Let me know if the pics are good or cruddy, or if you need more.

First 2 edge shots are good, but the rest are too blurry to see any details, but just going by those 2 pics, there's no sign of the coin being a 'collar' error. Sorry.

This might give you an idea of what to look for:

Thanks for the web page Nevol. Thanks all sorrbout the pics. I'm tossing it in the spend bucket. I'm guessing the MAD is causing the rimsky to roll up like that.
