I found this in my pocket change... Strangest Buffalo nickel I've ever seen... Hoping you guys can help me figure out what I've got here.

So we can narrow down what it is. I do not think it is a hobo nickel, I think it is a novelty/fantasy piece.

Son of a gun John , you out witted me again . Upon further inspection I believe it is not a hobo Nickel and can very well be a novelty/fantasy piece .

Not a hobo nickel, looks like a bad copy of a Buffalo nickel. Can you post a picture of the reverse?
