For 1952, is a full strike Nickel difficult to find, I have found bright and intact surfaces, but the hair is really weak, and of course the Monticello, how would this impact grade, is there something analogous in Jefferson nickels like Full Details standard find in Buffalo nickels, applicable to the Jefferson Obverse and Monticello Reverse?

Wow, talk about a pancake strike. Can't see this above MS-63.

It's a weak strike, missing a lot of detail. It's not wear, it's a weak strike which kind of has a pancake appearance. I would think the die was towards the end of it's lifespan and was all blown out. Even the lettering is not well defined and kind of fat looking.

Strike does not factor into grade, so this might go MS-65, but the mushiness is not appealing, at least not to me. Monticello's step count is the most common measure of strike quality on Jeffs.

@nick10 In Buffalo nickels, there is the Full Detail designation, with the Jefferson nickel, is there such a concept?

I've not seen similar for Jeffs. There's an assumption that full step means full detail, whereas that's certainly not true for many nickels, esp during the 1950s. Sharp lettering is the attribute I look for to determine strike detail, the more chiseled looking the better.
