@coin, first welcome to CCF. Second, I think that the term you are looking for is "impaired proof". For this specific dime that you have posted, there is plenty of circulation wear to be sure, but also there is evidence of die wear between FDR's portrait and LIBERTY. For that reason, I am highly doubtful that this coin was struck as a proof.

The "grain" on the obverse fields is from worn out dies showing the metal movement. That wouldn't be there on a proof coin even if it was in circulation
