Here are 2 more coins I haven't been able to ID the first one is probably unidentifiable it's probably my most toasted find. I found it in a field in the area of where an Indian village was and where Revolutionary troops marched through. In the mid 1800s a wealthy family lived there and I'm guessing it was probably a field back then. The only thing I can see on it is what might be some writing on it that I'll circle. Coin diameter is 26.9mm and weighs 6.27g

The second coin was found in the river and it looks like it was in the water a long time from the indentation on the one side. I'm have an idea what it might be but would rather ask more knowledgeable people. Coin diameter is 24.5mm and weighs 4.02g

Thanks for any help in IDing these

Can't help with the ID but a metal detector in New Hampshire pockets his "slicks"and has carried them there for months. After quite awhile he is usually able to get some hints to the ID from the polished high details.

@dirt, are both of these copper or copper alloys? It is a little hard to tell on that second one.

I'm pretty certain they are both copper. They both rang up as copper on my CTX I'm just thinking the bottom one was in the water a long time hence it looking like it does. I was thinking too one might be a worn large cent but with what looks like writing that I'm not familiar with I'm not so sure

Yes good point, while under diameter and underweight, a basal grade large cent might be what you have with that top one. I wonder if the one with the hole isn't some sort of number token or picker ticket.

I refer to them as 'slugs'.
