Bought some AF extensions for my 50mm(no manual aperture control) But anyway still learning how to kinnda tell so thoughts always appreciated. IMHO au-55+ maybe 58.

I'll say AU-53, possibly cleaned.

@coinfrog agree with the possible cleaning but I'm thinking to much detail for 53 no?

I think Frog is on the right track.

Photos look good. Play with the lighting a little and I think you are there.

Adam or one of the other knowledgeable dollar guys will have a better feel. I know that most O-mints tend to be weakly struck, especially above the ear and on the eagle's breast, so I tend to give them some leeway.

yeah my new light set up should be here today right now using 4inch selfie light coned down, and @ Coinfrog yeah noticed that alot on those yrs the bust of the eagle weak feathers

It has the look to me to be a little on the polished side. I could be wrong, but that's how it looks to me, so I'm calling it AU details.

since the 85(o) have typical average strikes most of of what we are seeing here is circulation wear. the coins fields and devices are dull. most if not all luster appears to have been removed from a cleaning. since its even in nature I would think it was over dipped. AU details. if I had to assign a numeric grade I would be at 53

Agree with AU details, cleaned. It appears that luster has been stripped by an overzealous dipping.
