Not sure, due to pics not being accurate. Personally I would steer clear from this seller. They over sharpen ALL their pics, making it impossible to accurately judge surfaces. I bought one coin from them and immediately returned. Never again. How they sell so many at such a high price is beyond me.

When I read Ty2020bs post I was thinking of 2 sellers, and yes that was 1 of them..I had a similar buy...looks like they add some type of "cream" to the coin....I eat it instead of dealing with a return.

I strongly suspect that some verdigris or other deposit was shoddily removed from that area. IMHO the seller received a lot more than that coin's worth. This coin, having been doctored in some way or another, is somewhat typical of this seller's wares.

I would never, ever buy a coin from this dealer. He doctors both coins and photos.

The eagle head and tail feather are directly over the wreath on the reverse. Due to the hardness of the coppernickel alloy and the relief of the features the had and/or tail feathers are often weak on these coins.
