If the weight is under, then I would think it is a lamination. But I'm leaning towards my first suggestion. Report this Post to the Staff

Luckily I recently got a precision scale and the weight is 3.126g. Weighed a few other BU wheat cents at 3 grams to make sure scale set up right. So I think Strike thru is correct. Keith12, if it was hit by enough force to drive a coin edge that far in, wouldn't there be a bent/damage on the reverse? Reverse looks OK to me in hand. Report this Post to the Staff
