Just to have something to pass the time, I picked up 40 rolls of cents to search from the bank. I didn't keep exact count but I'm thinking 75% of the copper plated zinc coins had tiny pits/plating problems on one side or both. Wish I had a good camera to post pictures, but I'm sure you know what I mean. To me this is a coin defect when it comes to collecting and they go back to the bank. The newer the coin the more I noticed this. Wondering if maybe years from now a high grade zinc
LMC coin may be of premium value. One other note, I took several well tarnished coins that appeared to be real good quality and harshly cleaned them(tomato ketchup soak)- hidden by all the tarnish look - zinc popping thru the copper plating. Would really like to read your thought on this.
