I won this in a ebay auction last Sunday. I didn't pay much but took a little gamble on it. The images of the obverse didn't make sense and I thought the coin might be better than the sellers image showed. I was right.

Now I haven't done a thing to this coin except photograph it. Just now I took some pictures of it with my regular Panasonic Lumix on automatic setting, same way I take all my coin photos. The first two are under semi bright lights built into my range top fan/exhaust hood and on my kitchen counter. The next two are at half brightness same setup. And the last two are the sellers pictures from the ebay auction.

So what are your opinions on the 1902 Morgan?

Semi bright light .......

The seller left money on the table with the poor photo quality. The goal with photos is to capture what the coin looks like in hand. The coin has the typical soft strike from the Orleans Mint. From your photos the coin appear to be MS63/64. Nice pick up.

Your pictures make the coin look nicer but sellers photos show the nicks. Nice though for a New Orleans - MS63

I'm not convinced it's UNC, so I'm at AU58-MS62, obverse holds this one back.

tough call on this one. the 02(O) had average strikes. the reverse on this one is on the weaker side. luster is broken all across the obverse particularly on the right side. no deductions or adds for eye appeal. based on the surfaces I dont think its uncirculated. AU58
Rest in Peace

I'm thinking based on the muted lustre of the surfaces it may be a slider. Tough call from images.

Agree with those saying AU-58. A nice slider.
