While you are waiting for the pros to show up, they are going to ask for

1) Better pics
2) Both sides of the coin
3) What is catching your attention on this coin or why you think it's unique so that they know what to look at

Oh yes, where are my manners?

Try placing the coin on a white sheet of paper and slowly moving your phone up or down directly above the coin until the zoom adjusts correctly.

Looks like a normal coin. A lot of the 1968-1972 cents have Machine Doubling on them. They are very common to find, even the Big DDO had most of its examples showing Machine Doubling.

Just so you're clear (since your post seems to suggest you're not quite getting how this works) doubled dies are not the same as double struck coins. A double struck coin is an error coin that results when a planchet remains in the striking chamber after the first strike and is struck a second (or more) time. A doubled die is a variety that occurs on properly struck coins that are struck with an improperly produced die on which some elements of the image have been doubled during the manufacturing (hubbing) process.

@biker420 a little punctuation would make that a lot easier to read. My head hurts.
