I'm sure most are aware of the 2013
DDR &
DDO's being found on the loon dollar and toonie, however, I was curious about the one-dollar coins (Loon, Security, Lucky Loonie & Grey Cup loonie) for 2012.
I know the 2013 sets with doubling are considered "Common" to an extent but I was wondering what everyone's take is on 2012 doubled dies?
Before I go posting a bunch of photos I just thought I would bring up the subject and get some input from those who may have heard about them in the past.
So far, I have found examples for each, accept the Loon with no security. I thought I had one but I will have to look through all my modern dollar coins again to find it, so for now it is "NIL" as I can't remember if it was a Major, or a Minor
DDO.

I would assume, out of all 7 examples I have found the only one (to me) that would seem to be "Scarce" would the 2012 Lucky Loonie with a mintage of only 5 Million, compared to the mintages for the regular Loon, Security Loon & Grey Cup dollar.
Also, when I say "Major" I mean exactly that. Some of the best
DDO's and
DDR's I have found recently seem to be on the Dollar.
I plan on doing a fairly large hunt today after I grab a box of Loonies from the bank as I want to get a general idea of how many of each, are out in circulation and I will report back with some numbers.
