This die has been a thorn in my side since it was first discovered and that's when I started looking for it. I even picked up a mint sewn bag of 95's back when it was all the craze to go through them . Twenty Five plus years of climbing that mountain and I finally hit the peak today ! All I could do was laugh.

That is pretty cool.
Where/how did you find it?

Hopefully you have found many interesting coins along the way.

Great find! Lucky enough to have found one of these in the wild myself, and it was a heck of a thrill. Looks like this one might benefit from an acetone soak.

Edit: wow, just read your description, and I can't even imagine how refreshing it must feel after so many years on the hunt! I feel guilty now since I've only even been in the hobby for about two years lol. Fantastic find!!

Thanks for the kind words all !
Yeh , I have spotted a thing or two over the years. I guess the most notable of recent finds would be a nice little group of 1963-D ddo-001's from some unc rolls that I picked up.

Congrats on "finally". Still searching bank rolls for any of the 1995 DDO's myself.

I kind of find it amazing that more (all varieties from 1995) don't show up more often in threads here with all the people posting but maybe that is a testament to how hard these were hunted when they first hit the streets.

EDIT: Congrats on those 1963 DDO-001's as well. I got 10 rolls at FUN last year with nothing more than a minor, hard to attribute, RPM to show for my efforts so far.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Congrats John. I just sold my MS67 not too long ago to get a step up on these "no luck finding" Top 100 RPMs.
That's a nice looking coin for being circulated. These tend to have split plating around the edge of the rim. I don't see it on yours. Probably helped it live so long. I would definitely get that in some acetone and Verdi-Care before locking it up.

Thanks again all !
The roll this came from was a customer wrapped roll from the bank. I've probably had it for two plus years as the most recent dates were 2018. Just never much time for searching around here. The odd thing about 1995's for me is this one took all those years to find but I scored one of the rarer 95 die #002's when I first started looking.
