1944 LWC Lam OBV And Rev

Found this 1944 Wheat cent in a stash of pennies to look over again. I missed it the first time.

It is amazing to me that the pieces that peeled off are still somehow stuck to the coin. You can see the parts of both of the 4's from the date close by original location.

Thanks for the remarks. I did put it in a 2 x 2 to preserve the peeling pieces, even though they have some how remained on the coin for 77 years.
Its kind of cool seeing parts of the numbers in a location different than where we are accustomed to seeing them

Gorgeous example. It is much like my own example of a major lamination on a 1921-p cent.
