In a world not ripped off by the financial 'geniuses' probably would bring well over a grand.

Checking his completed listings, this group was offered earlier. Auction ended 12-7-08 with bid of $1776.00 and reserve not met.

It appears the vast majority of coins are from the 1900's.

I honestly don't know why you would want them, but if I were forced to buy them, I wouldn't pay more than .25-.30 each. He should have taken the $1776 if it was a real bid, which I doubt from this particular seller.

I think it was a real bid. I think 50 cents apiece for a large lot like this should have been accepted by the seller. I'm inclined to think he has no intention of selling, just wishes to draw attention to his smaller lots which are largely BIN.

Ended at 2313.88 reserve not met a little over 66 cents apiece. Seems like a strong, perhaps overpriced bid to me.
