Just click on the link. Once there click repeatedly from the first to the last picture in the auction and watch as the 'no D' cent transforms to its real shape and form...amazing!

Whoa! Nice find!

Would this be considered fraud?

Don't get it? Are they trying to scam people but put the before photoshop pics in as well, by mistake?

The seller's ID is a clue. What are you going to think when you get the coin in the post and it has a D on it? Unless they don't plan on sending it.

Yet they have good feedback!

Knowing about photoshop myself (but not to doctor coin photos), I'd like to point out the tell-tale signs here of erasing the D mint mark.
When someone is sloppy using the "clone" tool, they will create repeating patterns as shown below:

Next time he might not want to include the photographic evidence that he'd done it.

I reported it. We'll see what happens.

Nice crop and paste Job. I'm glad you reported him SuperDave, I noticed the cloning marks right off as well.

Too many of these buyers out there...

Granted this guy is blatantly selling a fraud but how in the world could someone bid that much for a rarer coin and not even look at the pictures?

Now he's ended the listing and 'fixed' the photos in the relisting--please continue to report if you can!

Nice try--eBay has a server log, and we have before/after pics here.
I see he's fudged with his pics further to hide the evidence, good luck.
