Where is a good place to buy silver now that the price might be going through the roof.Might be a good investment for my kids as I am getting older.

Can't give you good advice for buying Silver right now ,but you might want to look into metal detecting and finding your own . Zero premium .

Whatever you buy take physical possession of it at the time of purchase.
Do not part with your money without taking your silver out the front door with you.
The market, hype and crooks will be out in full force.
Good luck!

I'm curious to know this too, I have been sitting on a few ounces of .9999+ Silver Shot that I purchased a while back when 1 troy ounce was really low, I originally planned to start striking my own silver rounds with dies made by hand but all this talk about silver rising now I'm not sure.

If you are going to invest in silver, do it with the major mining companies. They know, down to almost the ounce, how much they are going to dump on the market the next day, the next week, or the next year and when to ramp up production. They can dump tons of it when it's high and then invest when the price drops. An individual will be weeks behind. It's just time to dump scrap that you've had for years.

I unloaded most of my silver in September, when it reached CAN$40/oz... I usually don't start stacking it until it drops below $25/oz... which it invariably will in time.

Silver is appreciating in value due to a Short Squeeze in the market. Shorting = Borrowing shares of said stock, anticipating the stock price will depreciate in value & then the trader collects the difference when Covering aka selling the position. BUT.... if you're Short when others are buying the stock & it begins to appreciate in value.... instead of COLLECTING the difference in price, you are obligated to PAY THE DIFFERENCE. Shorting can lead to unlimited losses like the billions of $'s the hedge funds lost on Gamestop, ticker $GME.

You'll be hard pressed to find physical silver for sale right now. And where it's available online, place an order but it could be weeks for delivery.
