Pics are too washed-out to see surface details clearly.

The dark stuff on the reverse at the 9 o'clock position would kill it for me.

I need to practice pictures. The dark stuff I think is shadows, working on lighting. Using a phone. Natural light, true blue light and warm light. Driving me crazy.

The coins surfaces are washed out but the background has pretty good detail.

The dark stuff may be easy to remove.
Try giving it a gentle bath in acetone.

Bit of a risk to justify the shipping and grading fees.
Needs to get a PF-70 for you to be really happy and justify the fees.

Nice coin--holds some promise. New images taken in neutral, diffused lighting (with the light source just a tad more vertical) would help greatly. Two light sources may be needed.

I have better luck taking photos of Coins that are half dollar in size or larger with the Coin propped up, at an angle, instead of laying flat. A good light source is a must. I will leave a couple photos as an example. The lamp is $40 on Amazon. Photo was taken with my camera on my phone.
