No picture here, but one simple question:
Although everyone says how rare it is, Why is the AU 50 price for an 1858 1 cent sitting at $ 350 for a longer than I can even think back?

My latest Trends is Aug 2018 and that 350 price is right there for AU.

It's been at that price for at least ten years now maybe fifteen.
Trends prices are only ballpark figures, somewhat detached from reality, generally only indicative of relative value.
As long as you know it's worth about 10 times as much as a comparable 1876 that's about all you can expect.

"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
