This was actually pointed out to me by a group on Facebook I didn't believe that it was there until I put the coin under a microscope But it is actually there On the Above the 1996 dates you can make out The date 1946 On the back The entire image that was minted to the back is oddly Squished together Touching the coin you can fill a bowl like in didn't like there was originally Wheat stocks Funny thing is With a magnifying glass when you look at the right hand side of the coin you can actually see the imprint just fading Out Of wheat stock from a Lincoln Wheat cent And if you look at the back you will notice a messed up T And it's bubbling out some that is a mint error

I think you're quite mistaken on this.

Let's see what others have to say.

That is why it's on here There's no mistaking it I showed the coin to several people in person After I heard what was on it and they can see it aa well I'm not the only one I just think it's remarkable and then someone told me there was a shortage of copper in In 1996 to 1999 Then someone from a local coin shop told me that they recycled some of the plates Which I didn't know they did and I still don't believe But if it's possible that they did recycle old pennies into new Then its a possibilitie that's what this is You cannot leave that Possibility unchecked

Well I have no idea what you are trying to say but better pictures are definitely going to be needed.

There were no copper plated zinc Lincoln cents in 1946.

Very much Pareidolia, they did not 'recycle' old coins...ever. I will atribute it to plating bubbles. If this was a 'recycled' coin, the date would not be below the original, they would overlap for the most part. Further proof that this isn't a 'recycled' coin.

See if any of those friends on FB would want to buy this coin from you? If so, take the money and run.
Fast.

I don't see it either, sorry.

to CCF. Not to pile on but I agree with Pareidolia.
I also see a 5 to the right of the mint mark

I do see something going on with the T on the reverse, looks like plating bubbles. As already pointed out, it is impossible to have been struck on a 1946 because the 1946 would have been copper not copper plated zinc. Sometimes looking at a coin under too high magnification will give all kinds of optical illusions.

20 Facebook friends see something above the date. Coin people say differently.

But you want to believe the Facebook friends.
