Right below the top a curl of hair crosses over the ear. I know it is not in real shape but looking at what it is supposed o look like, this is not it.

Maybe new photos would help--clear, high-resolution, not blow-ups of small low resolution images. And if possible, please orient the photos with the coin's top truly 'up'. Thanks.

As everyone above has said, the forum members need much better photos of your coins in order to see what it is that you are seeing. The pics you supplied look like a heavily abused Zinc Cent along with some zinc rot. It also looks like there are many areas of blistered plating but this is a guess due to the grainy pictures. These plating issues can make and create things that look like oddities on a coin and ultimately bring no added value.

Hopefully this will help. The problem I have with the coin is that the top lobe is nonexistent. And there is a curl of hair laying over the middle of the lobe. It almost looks like the middle is broken in towards the inner ear. This is the best image I can get with my S20 and keep it below 300k. If it doesn't help, I give up on this one, it's not in the best shape anyways.

@bab, it does look like Abe's ear is split horizontally. Based on the other damage on this coin, I'm thinking that this is most likely too.
