Hello there, I'm new. I joined this forum because I was struggling so much to identify this coin. It is a denier tournois, but the legend is different from every single Tournois I have ever seen. I actually posted this coin to an italian forum (since I am italian) two weeks ago without even getting a reply. Size: 17mm / 0.67 inches. Copper / Billon
weight unknown. legends are (could be wrong, my eyes are pretty good but I could have misread some letters.)
OBV: " + S(maybe) TV..(D maybe) S (O maybe) .... D" castle tournois
REV: "+ST...T (E maybe)AT..CI" Cross Patče
thank you all for your help.

@reiner, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'll be interested to see if we can help you--I won't have a chance tonight, but will take a stab at it tomorrow.

This combination of design elements also appears on some "Crusader coins."

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes, It does appear on some of the crusader coins, but I can't find a Legend that match
