This is a Morgan my friend gave me. Looks like an MS60 to me..... But several other collectors say it's been cleaned. Some say no, and that it just has a lot of PMD. I am a VERY new collector & my eye can't tell the difference very well between cleaning marks/scuffs and legit PMD damage..... Thoughts?

Difficult to tell for sure, but I see hairline scratches on both sides. I'd say probably cleaned at some point in its life as many have been. Nice clashing on the reverse.

If it was cleaned, it must have been very lightly and a long time ago. Probably wouldn't have much effect on value.

ou said AU-58..... Can you give a couple reasons why you woudn't cross over to the MS state? It is because of detail? scratches? possibly cleaning? Curious and trying to learn.

The surface interruptions in the fields are consistent with a lightly circulated coin. Have a look at the AU58 example on PCGS photograde. https://www.PCGS.com/photograde/#/Morgan/Grades
