Looks like it has just taken a hit.
Even the bottom of the 4 is damaged.

Yes, a lateral hit taken--strong enough to move and jumble the mint mark, not to mention the lower portion of the first 4. Not an error, it's the result of post strike damage.

I see the bottom of 4 damage but it looks like extra material than just the 4 pushed around but idk that's what I have you guys for right lol thankyou it's always appreciated I am always learning and just when I think I've seen them all short of an error there is another non error damage.

There was never a mint mark. It's just a heavy hit displacing the metal from the four

Good catch jasper62, the more I look at it, there's high probability there wasn't a min mark in the first place. A divot. Cool.
