I don't see a 1936 dot from that photo. All I see is what may be a dot that can be from anything.

Full size pics to start, please. This could be a bit of rust on my car's exhaust pipe.

I wanted to let you guys know. where I am at right now. ok first the coin is doubled died. second there is a died clash. its obverse to reverse. quite a heavy die clash. what I am going to do today. I will do a hand stack of the reverse. that will take most of this day. then one of the obverse. I will do and overlay. reverse on to the obverse. I will make a video of the images being populated depopulated. that way we can see all the differences. what I would like to do is make sure this is not a jewel on his wardrobe. I want to thank you all if you can think of any thing else I should check please post and thank you

One clear concise picture of the Reverse And a second picture of the date area will confirm You DO NOT have a 1936 DOT CENT.

This post reminds me of the idiom, "...cannot see the forest for the trees.".
Context is everything, start large with a photo of the entire coin, then work your way into the details.

Sorry Rocky, but this it is not the dot coins. The dot must be rising dot not a hole in the coins.
