I'm wondering if there will be a shortage of 'W' minted Proof ASE coins.

looking at my U.S.Mint account for my enrollments plan I noticed a new disclaimer:

Quote:
Purchasers of the "W" American Eagle 2021 One Ounce Silver Proof Coin (21EA), please note: Demand for this product is extremely high. In order to accommodate as many customers as possible, we are unable to accept increases to enrollment orders for this product.

Then I read an article in CoinWorld about it, here is the link to the article:

While no one can predict the future, IMO, the mint is really good at building up demand, they did it last year with 2020 S Proof and it looks like they will do it again with the 2021 W proof.

Here is my take on this...
300K is not a small mintage
You can currently buy almost all proofs from a coin shop for $48-$52
So I won't be jumping to get one. I would rather get it on the 2ndary market, but that's me. A lot of people buy from the mint.

This is the only one on my list:

I hope the mint does something crazy like 30000 limit. I would say they will do 2021, but that makes it almost impossible to get ;)
