AshC21 Valued Member Canada 53 Posts	Posted 02/10/2021 3:30 pm I hope I'm posting in the right area. I need some help with my 1974 S penny that I need graded please . Problems : -It has a chip above the word "GOD" -A little bit of green and water damage on the right side of the front and back of the coin. ( sorry I'm still new at this , I don't fully know all the proper words for coins yet) I didn't notice any doubling on any of the words , but the "S " under the date is thicker then what I see online. And weight is 3.11 grams ( probably normal for that year ) I'm sorry for the bad photos , I'm trying to get more , if needed I will post more . If anyone out there that can help me with what grade this coin is and possibly the value too , I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Diy89Nurm7 Valued Member United States 271 Posts	Posted 02/16/2021 12:11 am Seems like VF35 to me. Some nice higher points, but too much damage and wear elsewhere. Bow tie and coat are too worn.
