I could be wrong but I don't like that S mint mark . Just doesn't look right .

I'm playing around with it on PS, and the font is off, that S doesn't appear to belong.

It does appear weak and not positioned like any image I can find on the internet, though why someone would alter a coin like this is hard to imagine.

I'd call this VF35, not a huge fan of the surfaces.

Though not as common, I have seen the MM in this position. The style looks like it could be correct but very weak as CF pointed out. Part of this could also be the picture in combination with the toning and buildup around the MM. Part of me is a bit weary but leaning towards genuine.

Adding a MM wouldn't be worth the headache unless it was in AU+ condition......unless someone really wanted to be unsuspecting I guess.

This might just creep into EF40 territory, but I think it's a safer bet to go VF35 on it. I'm okay with the M/M.
