XF. AU Details, it's retoned but there's a lot of hairlines going on there.

Look to me like slide marks from a dansco or whitman type album with the sliding clear plastic sheets. The obverse strike looks super strong and the reverse is also very strong for a 23-S. Can't grade this one like a philly product.

Agreed, well aware of the strike/die issues in San Fran and this one IS above average. I initially thought AU details and changed it (should have stuck with my gut). I can see AU50-53 Details.

Those hairlines that cross diagonally on the obverse pass over the fields and devices, it's beyond album swiping IMO. They also like to be multi-directional in the reverse. Sticking with Details.
