I have a coin from Morocco, I am certain it is a Falus, and dated 1287. But beyond that I cannot find the script written on it. To identify the denomination or ruler.
28MM, 7.85gm.

Sidi Mohammed IV?
How many grams does it weigh?
Could be an indication of denomination.

My oversight I didn't read carefully.
At 7 grams it could be a 2 Falus denomination.
The single Falus are much lighter.
But based on my memory of these coins a size of 28mm is in line with a 4 Falus coin.
So the size of a 4 and the weight of a 2 has me confused.
Someone here will no doubt come along and get it right- just hang on and keep checking back.

As said by @albert, diameter corresponds to a 4 falus coin, but weight is too light. And maybe a different mint than this: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces9631.html

Edit: Or a contemporary counterfeit?
https://www.NGCcoin.com/price-guide...duid-1440058

I'll also note that my 1976 Craig "Coins of the World" on which the NGC listing is based, calls this coin (C-166 at 27-29 mm) a 3 falus (which would be consistent with a weight of about 8.6 g), and there is no 4 falus coin listed. Presumably the NGC listing reflects more recent knowledge (no 3 falus coin during this reign).
By AH1287 the weight of the 2 falus coin (C-163) is 5.8 g according to NGC, so this coin is both too large and too heavy.

28mm is the size of the 3 Falus coin.
I was hung up on the 2 and the 4 without thinking of the 3.
Regarding weight I'd say there is variation.
