to CCF. If you have a locale coin shop or coin club that you "trust" try there. If you don't, you will need to learn how to grade and then check ebay sold values for an idea on what to get for yours. Also look here http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml
And for grading https://www.PCGS.com/photograde

Can you say a bit more about what is in your collection?
Is it modern U.S. coins (after 1950)?
Is it older, "classic" U.S. coins (19th century)?
Is it coins in high grade which were purchased from coin dealers and auctions, or is it coins you got out of circulation?
Is it world coins?

Knowing some of these things can help us to give better answers.

You should really give more information as to what type of coins.

If you can describe, or better yet post pictures of your collection, I am sure some here could give some good starting point tips. I for one would love to see what it looks like!

to CCF.

You can always take them to the nearest coin shop, depending upon what you have, they may offer to buy all or some of what you have.
Rest in Peace

To CCF , My advice to you is don't sell your coins to a Coin shop , not saying they are bad in any way but they will not give you full value as they have to pay a lot for overhead ,taxes, etc. If your not in a dire need for money then hold them until you know more about coins, and believe me there is a heck of a lot to learn . If not , you will get burned .
