So I have been trying to figure out how this could have happened
Could it have been a coin that was not ejected completely, struck by the die and transferred the impression to die. Then completely cleared and next coin struck.this would explain why the P is not tilted.
That also explains the fact that it is raised.
Can't wait for some more opinions myself, although I'm not suggesting a RPM.
Very nice theory, how ever that would be a depression and this is slightly raised. And there is other Mark's elsewhere
On the coin.
Trouble is my pics. To be honest looks best with the naked eye.

That is a second P faint as it may be.
Now if this happened the way I mentioned. You have to know that a coin is no match for a tool steel die, it's not
Going to leave much of an impression and will fade the more it strikes coins.
Well how interesting.
Intentional damage by someone fooling around, question mark.
I know what it is I can see it clearly here.
I was hoping to have a discussion on how it could have happened. Well to answer your question about weather I intentionally damaged the coin in an attempt to deceive you,
The answer is no. Coin is in great shape.
I thought that in forum description was discussion.
I seem to be talking to myself. I appreciate that.

Ok so I can only assume that no one has ever seen a coin with this type of minting damage. So I have to assume no one ca say.i don't want to sell it or even know what it could be worth. I deal in Diamonds not pocket change. Sorry to bother anybody. I did take offense to the insinuation that I am Dishonest. You all be nice in here and have a good one.
Thanks for all Your help Coop. You the man.
Oh ya I have never asked what's a coin worth I just don't care.
So why would I try to deceive any one?

It was all about the knowledge. And I couldn't get anyone to talk to me, that's a shame.
