Is there a term for this? Looking at TUSOF bleeding through to the front. I've always hung on to this just because it's a fun one.

My guess, it's ink from one on top of it when still wet. In stamps, they call it "offset"

The reverse of yours has some of it too from the front of another

I agree with most of @Mike33's comments. It's most likely from being stacked with other freshly printed notes. The term offset is usually reserved for notes with inking from the impression cylinder.

Okay, that makes sense. I didn't stop to think it was from another bill because when you hold it to the light, it's aligned perfectly, but it would be from another bill too. That' good to know about offset!

Happens with stamps as well... well, it USED TO happen with stamps...
