started collecting ATB Quarters noticed that some of them have horizontal gouges on the either side on coin. they are a pair or three together. sometimes paired and located apart by different set.

We will need pictures before anyone can say what is going on with your coins. It could be either damage or an error.

photo isn't very good, gouges to the right side of building

I downloaded the picture and tried to enlarge it but that picture was of no use. Try tacking picture of area where you see the problem.

Those are Reed Marks from another coin, happens a lot in the Ballistic Bags, they weigh around 2,000 pounds. Just damage.
