Sorry but this is nowhere close to MS68. That would grade AU, not even MS

With the photos, I'm seeing a lightly circulated '77 D cent--some very light wear on obverse high points, a few light dings/hits on obverse and reverse. Nice coin. At this point I'd go with low(er) MS range, perhaps MS62+. More info: https://www.PCGS.com/coinfacts/coin...d-1c-rd/2987

Sorry, but no where near MS68 or red for that matter. Mid AU at best and red/brown. John1

This is not an MS coin and the best I would go is AU55. Your view of MS68 is not possible and you would be throwing money out the window to attempt certification.
It's worth face value - 1 cent - albeit an attractive roll found example from many years ago.

I'd say around low MS to high AU.

Looking AU RB to me, too. You might want to go back to PhotoGrade in PCGS and see how smooth the field is (no nicks) and how little wear is on the coin high points.
Keep trying and learning!
Stay well, Diy89Nurm7

I'm at AU-58 as well, but that's just a hunch. OP would get more worthwhile replies if he would learn to crop, enlarge and focus his pics with light on the surfaces.

You don't really need a magnifier more than 10x for grading. You can buy a clip on magnifier from Walmart or ebay real cheap. John1

Signs of light wear, AU-58.
