1999 25 cent coin or token.

I would think token as it does not say 25 cent

What is it and what year was it minted?

Do they have any value?

First one is the first time I see. Presume also Commemorative medallion.

I think the second one is from the Millennium stamp set or similar type thing. I think they retailed for around $8. Not sure if any value after that.

A quick ebay search will find both of these. Worth $1 or $2 each unless you get really lucky.

Someone told me that are many copies around. I know that in that times RCM send millennium sets of 12 coins plus medallion in China. I will not be surprise me to learn that they are copies around! For those who want fulfill a hole in the collection for fun is OK, could be an alternative but for a real collector a certified one is more suitable. My opinion.

For me those medallion's has no numismatic value, like the casinos fine silvers. Those have nice design, some times really pieces of art, but not more.
