Since all 50 states are now out I decided it was time to fill my album this morning with all the unc and proof issues, and then file the album away. After cutting open the 2004P unc set I noticed I had 2 Michigan and no Texas quarters. I was wondering how common this is and how much of my kids inheritance I just flushed.

KIE, I am not sure how common this occurrence is, however did you hear that not long ago some one received, in a mint set, 2- s minted cents instead of one and they were both rpm's, go figure?

Packaging errors don't add value at all. You didn't ruin anything....except your chance to have the mint correct the problem.

Packaging errors such as that tend to add about one dollar to the value of the set.

I just noticed the set is a 2004 set...not a new order. They wouldn't have corrected that anyway, so you lost nothing.

Thanks guys, I just wish I would have caught it before I cut the package. Would have made an interesting conversation piece.

morgans dad - 2 "s" mint cents in one set both rpms that would be cool to see.
