Found This Benjamin Harrison President Coin Or Token?

conehead New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 12/18/2008 11:57 am I couldn't find this coin anywhere. And is it a coin? I found simalar coins but not exactly the same. Does anyone have any info on this item? If so please tell me what it is. I found this item in an old condemned house. In a wall I was knocking down. Any info. on this would be appreciated. It is a more of a medal or token, certainly privately made. There are several types of Presidential medals around, bronze medal sets have been produced by the US Mint over the years and Shell Oil had a long running promotion at their stations involving yellow brass tokens, but I have never seen this design before Report this Post to the Staff

Note that the tails side says "President 23" as if it was meant to be directions where to put this on some sort of cardboard plaque. That would be my guess, anyway. Report this Post to the Staff
