I've actually got two of these the same size (13mm) and this is the better one, though still really rough. Non-magnetic, rather thin.

For purposes of categorizing, how should these 2 coins be labelled on the envelope? They are in rough shape and I cannot discern any obvious identification marks. Thanks for any guidance.

Looks Roman to me, and rather harshly cleaned.

I think I can read 'PROVID...' on the second picture and can (maybe) see two figures in the middle.

It may have looked a little like this in the past:

A-Tough-One,-In-Rough-Shape

Difficult to 100% ID as its so worn and Providentia (goddess of forethought) was on so many coins. At a guess I'd say it dates from around 250-350AD.
