a friend of mine said he had this Morgan dollar that was worth thousands of dollars & of course I told him to let me check with you guys to see if it's one of those elusive gems or just another one of the reproductions they did in 1921 since I know very little (actually nothing) about any Morgan dollar errors. thanks in advance.
I'm just gonna post a pic of both sides. as I don't have my equipment with me to take better photos.

There were more than 85 million Morgan dollars struck by the three mints combined in 1921, with a total of 21,695,000 minted in San Francisco (S). There is nothing rare or unusual about this date or coin. I agree with @levelofmadnes that the coin has a suspiciously "cleaned up" look.

The coin looks like it is made from clay.

I'll say EF details (scraped) - just a bullion coin.

Likely genuine and harshly cleaned. It's worth $25 at most.

that's kinda what I thought also & yes I think they did the greenest mistake you can & that's cleaning it especially like he did. he said he didn't but you can obviously tell it's been cleaned.

you know how people get when they research a coin they believe is worth $$$...they don't check legit sites & they look at the unrealistic sale prices other con artist try selling theirs for & so they think they have the same one. can't tell'em any different they won't have that kinda non-sense so it's whatever. I'll tell him what I've learned & he can do what he wants with that Intel.
