Hi there. Hopefully this is the right section, I figured it would be most helpful when looking through bulk coins for defects/varieties.

I made a page in photoshop to help me sort coins into their years. Will this help anyone else?

I added a little info to help myself and a friend when we were just starting.

The split pages are for printing to 2 A4 pages for doing 50c, maybe 20c pieces and other very large coins. Smaller coins ($1 and smaller) should all fit on a single A4. You could print a single A3 for the larger coins if you have the ability.

Let me know of any requests/improvements or customizations that you're interested in, or just what you think of it please

If I'm correct in thinking , you want to inventory your coins on paper . If so I would first (in horizontal columns ) list Denomination date and mint , Inventory # , Grade & comments, Mintage & price paid .
Just an Idea .

Yes,i use to keep similar records pre Internet and ebay but these days there are heaps of SW programmes out there that work well with Coins.
Just update on the computer and print out as needed.

Anyway good luck with it,always better when your using your own filing/recording system.

Late reply to this but the replies have missed the intent of the printed sheet.
It is used as a physical "checkerboard".
If you have a big bunch of coins...say KGV pennies, and you want to start noodling through for errors, then start physically stacking them, obverse up, onto the appropriate 'year square'.
Once they're all stacked, it's a lot easier to work through them.
Great idea.
