I came across this a while back and finally getting around to posting it. I tend to think that it is more than just damage because of how small the incused areas are, but I'm wrong all the time so here I am.

Looks like the posts broke off the die. The incused 'dimples' may just be the remnants of the post left after the break. But i'll have to see what the experts have to say.

Looks like PMD with circulation flattening to me. NOTE: NO OMM's after 1955, so that can be ruled out.
