Hi All, - New member - 1st Post.

I recently started collecting coins with my 8 year old son. We're newbies and we've already found a few gems but we would appreciate some opinions on this latest find.

We think we have found a 2000 Knowledge Toonie with a pedestal LETTER O. We were checking for pedestal letters D and S which we saw online and came across this. We couldn't find anything online so we joined this forum/community.

Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Hi JayK,
I can't help you with your question as I'm pretty new to this as well but wanted to say welcome. I used to collect but took a long break and started up again during the pandemic with my kids. It's been the best part of the last year. This forum has been really helpful to me so I'm sure they will help you out.

Did you find this in change? That's amazing.

Thank so much! Yes, we found it in our change. We also went through some old pennies last week and found a 2006 No P mark Magnetic Penny. We were thrilled! Thanks for the welcome and kind words. This forum has come in results so many times when I've searched for things I'm sure it will be great.

Most two dollar varieties are die chips (Rhino, cigar, pedestal letters, etc.)
