1979 Lincoln Cent Wih Rectangle Above Date

It would be best to post your coin in a separate thread for proper attention, and it's not good forum manners to take over an existing thread with an unrelated topic. Your coin is considered a counter stamped item. It is a post mint, man made mark. There are people who collect these but they have very low value. Each of the 50 coins had a map of one of the States on it with the State's two character initials. This looks like it might be from a similar set but with just the initials (Colorado?). Check out the link in my signature. Yours happens to be of Colorado. It's part of a 50 state set. The set sells for around $7-$10 and are fairly common on ebay. Individual counter stamps from the set are not worth very much.
