I believe I found a nice die crack on the bottom obverse of this quarter. I tried my best to get a good photo but am having trouble with glare.

I am afraid what you have is not a Die crack. It is a scratch, it is incuse and in some areas you can see the metal displacement. It is considered damage,it's a spender.

Third the "Scratch" - but keep looking, with as many State Quarters that were minted chances are good you'll find one with a die crack eventually.

You found something out of the normal, so it's ok to be excited. It's a "scratch" from me as well. Keep searching!

If it is a die crack it would be taller on the devices. If it is a scratch, the mark would below the surface on the affected areas. If it is raised, you might check to see if a Cud is listed on that area. If the area is incuse, then it is a spender.
