Glare on an image is not your friend. It hides to us, what you are seeing. The light source is too strong, or the items you are seeing are flat and reflecting the light into the camera. Diffuse the image to remove the glare. Depending on your light source it can be done. Images of your setup would be helpful if you would like a second/third opinion on improvement.
